Alpha Omicron Pi

Since I have a passion for social media marketing, I voluntarily made mock social media posts for Alpha Omicron Pi's Beta Nu chapter.

I developed a captivating content creation project tailored for Alpha Omicron Pi - Beta Nu, my sorority, focusing on elevating engagement, encouraging Panhellenic Recruitment, and educating viewers about what it is like being an AOII.

I first researched our current AOII Instagram, the AOII headquarters Instagram, other Panhellenic sororities at Illinois State and other AOII chapters to gather content ideas. Once I had an idea of what content and graphics I wanted to incorporate into our feed, I gathered photos from the Beta Nu photo achrieve that alligned with my vision of the posts.

I thought highlighting our brand new house, our values, and a style guide for recruitment would make the best posts to be pinned on the profile, because it shows our niche while personalizing it to the specific chapter. Next, I wanted to show AOII Stories, because not everyone that goes through recruitment will talk to same girl, so I wanted bring as many AOII stories to life through our Instagram. The Instagram Reels showcase advice for recrutiment to help the Potential New Members find their home and to humanize AOII members to the audience. Finally, the posts in between are filler feed photos to show more of what AOII is about and what they have been up too.

Was the president of the Art Club in High School.
Was the on the Varsity Swim Team her junior and senior year of High School.
Loves trying new things and traveling.
Wants to work in advertsing and is currently a marketing major.

Customer Profile

Meghan is a freshman at Illinois State and is wanting to make new friends. She is orgnially from Naperville, IL and is looking to get involved in college since she felt that she hid in the background in high school. She wants a place that will support her, but challenge her and allow her to explore her likes and interest. Meghan wants to be in AOII because of their values and relatability. There is a best friend and someone for everyone.
